Location & LodgingConference LocationAll conference sessions will be held at the Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing. Hotel AccomodationsRooms have been reserved at two locations. If you wish to stay at the Kellogg Center, you must contact them directly for reservations by calling 1-800-875-5090. It is recommended that you make your hotel reservations early because rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Mention the Summer Symposium for the special rate.

The group rate is $85 per night (single or double occupancy) Butterfield Guest House and Butterfield Hall Housing for conference attendees is also available in Butterfield Guest House and Butterfield Hall of the Brody Complex Student Dormitories directly across the street from the Kellogg Center. All rooms are non-smoking. Check-in time is 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM for both facilities. They both use the same check-in reception desk and the entrance door faces Harrison Road and the Kellogg Center. Guaranteed room reservation deadline is June 24, 2008. Click here to make your reservation for either accomodation. A taxi from Lansing Airport to Brody Complex is approximately $25. Butterfield Guest House The rate is $38/night/person double occupancy or $47/night single occupancy. The room is furnished with TV/refrigerator/carpet/air conditioning/desk/chair and the bathrooms are shared (community style). Butterfield Hall The rate is $29/night/person double occupancy or $38/night single occupancy. The room has twin beds/no carpet/air conditioning/desk/chair and the bathrooms are shared (community style). Parking Parking is available across the street in the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center parking ramp at no charge. Your parking ticket must be validated at the Butterfield Guest House reception desk. |
